Role Overview
The Strategic Account Director leads strategic sales initiatives to expand across the Nemetschek portfolio. This role involves developing account plans, coordinating teams, and cultivating long-term relationships with key clients.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary contact for key clients, proactively identifying sales opportunities.
* Lead account planning, develop strategic sales approaches, coordinate across brands, and facilitate team engagement.
* Open new doors, develop relationships, and generate business for all Nemetschek products with new and existing customers.
* Build sales pipelines and move opportunities through sales cycles to closure.
* Educate customers about product offerings and capabilities via marketing campaigns.
* Collaborate with Nemetschek brands and internal teams to ensure customer success.
* Maximize revenue growth and profitability for large strategic accounts.
* Work with product, marketing, finance, and sales operations teams across the group.
* This is a relationship-driven, senior sales role requiring a 'hunter' mindset, focusing on acquiring and growing large enterprise accounts.
* Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics to track progress, forecast revenue, and improve engagement strategies.
* Understand and apply common sales methodologies and processes.
* Travel up to 50% of the time.
Candidate Profile
* Over 10 years of software sales experience within the AEC industry, with a strong understanding of market trends and competition. Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, stakeholder mapping, and procurement processes.
* Established professional relationships across sectors at C-Level.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop tailored solutions.
* Experience working with architectural, engineering, and construction firms.
* Familiarity with Nemetschek’s software solutions is a plus.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events.
