We are looking for you to join our Weil am Rhein location as Leitung Finanz- und Rechnungswesen Deutschland (m/w/d).
Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for accounting and controlling
* Leadership and development of the main ledger, accounts payable, credit management, and controlling teams (approx. 23 employees)
* Ensuring timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including group reports
* Planning, implementing, and monitoring budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis
* Primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, banks, and the management team
* Ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations, providing active advice and support to team leaders on accounting issues
* Continuous development of finance and controlling teams
Qualifications
* Degree in economics or a comparable qualification, preferably with a focus on accounting
* Extensive professional experience in group accounting, preferably with experience in auditing
* Solid knowledge of HGB accounting standards (individual and consolidated financial statements)
* Leadership experience is advantageous
* Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
* Hands-on mentality with a structured and independent working style
* High social competence, teamwork skills, and ability to communicate complex issues effectively
