Job Description
We are searching for a Technical Sales Engineer to grow our Energy Infrastructure business in Europe, focused on Energy Storage System applications across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Working closely with sales team to support the sales process by providing technical expertise and product knowledge to specific clients in the account or industry.
2. Understanding the client's requirements and pain points to propose products or solutions that address client needs.
3. Collaborating with sellers to develop technical proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate terms and conditions from a technical perspective through hands-on, customized, experiential selling.
4. Providing deep products and solutions knowledge with industry know-how, working with marketing team to provide technical simulation demonstrating Delta’s capabilities in specific business scenarios.
5. Supporting customer relationship management and driving deal closure by demonstrating product value and feasibility and building deep technical value as trusted advisor to clients.
6. Bridging technical requirements from customers with solution management and development team for short-term fix or long-term enhancement of the solution.
7. Supporting site survey of customer projects along with technical team, partners, and customers.
8. Monitoring local grid codes, legislation, standards, market trends and identifying new market opportunities.
Qualifications
9. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, power system engineering, or equivalent.
10. 3-5 years of experience with Energy Storage Systems and excellent technical knowledge of Energy Storage Systems and system integration.
11. Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
12. Installation experience / certificate to work in 1000VAC and 1500VDC is an advantage.
13. Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
14. Ability to specify customer requirements to the business development manager, solution management, and development team.
15. Capable of self-management the daily tasks with the ability to work independently as well as part of an international team.
16. Customer focus, good communication and interpersonal skills.
17. Willing to travel occasionally and holding a driving license.
