About the Role Our client, a leading organization undergoing significant digital transformation, is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant with a strong emphasis on finance modules. As a recruitment partner, we are looking for a detail-oriented, client-focused consultant who can bridge the gap between finance operations and technology. You will play a key role in designing and implementing Business Central solutions that align with the client’s financial processes and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a particular focus on financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
* Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, define business processes, and translate these into functional specifications.
* Configure Business Central to support end-to-end financial processes and reporting needs.
* Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with finance and accounting teams.
* Provide guidance on best practices in financial systems implementation, data migration, and financial controls.
* Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related queries during and post-implementation.
* Support integrations between Business Central and other systems such as payroll, CRM, and banking platforms.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and post-go-live support.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Functional Consultant working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) with a specialization in financial modules .
* Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles – ideally with hands-on experience in a finance or accounting role.
* Experience in full lifecycle ERP implementations – from discovery through to deployment and support.
* Ability to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and user-friendly solutions.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Microsoft certifications in Business Central (preferred but not essential).
* Fluent German and English speaking
Desirable
* Experience with Power BI, Power Platform, or Jet Reports .
* Exposure to multi-entity or international finance structures.
* Familiarity with industry-specific financial reporting or compliance requirements.
