Global Head of Human Resources (Global Role)
Location: Headquarters – Germany, located near key centres such as Frankfurt, Mainz, Wiesbaden, and Heidelberg
Experience: 15+ years in senior HR leadership within global organizations
This is a perfect role for a HR Director or previous Global Head of HR to move into a business going through large change. You will be in the office 3 days per week, located near Frankfurt and Mainz. The role will be supporting a business of circa 1,000 employees. We do require an individual with fluency in German and English.
Role Overview
* Lead the global HR function through a major transformation as the business becomes an independent entity.
* Define and execute a scalable global people strategy that supports growth, stability, and performance across all regions.
* Act as a core member of the leadership team, balancing strategic direction with hands‑on operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement global HR strategy aligned to business objectives post‑separation.
* Lead and develop regional HR teams across APJ, India, EMEA, Middle East, and the Americas.
* Build global HR frameworks covering talent, performance, rewards, learning, employee relations, and HR systems.
* Drive change management, culture transformation, and employee engagement during transition.
* Oversee HR governance, compliance, risk management, and stand‑alone HR infrastructure.
* Lead labour relations and employee representation processes in line with German employment law and co‑determination requirements.
* Shape global talent development, succession planning, workforce planning, and capability building.
* Design competitive, equitable compensation and benefits frameworks across regions.
Key Requirements
* Extensive global HR leadership experience, ideally in a global setting.
* Strong expertise in German labour law and employee representation frameworks.
* Proven ability to lead multicultural, geographically dispersed HR teams.
* Experience building HR systems, processes, and governance from the ground up.
* Strategic, influential leader with strong execution capability.
