Mixed-Signal Design Engineer – Data Converters (DAC & ADC)
Aachen (preferred) | Deep-Tech / Semiconductor | Mid & Senior Levels
Join a well-funded startup building next-generation ADC/DAC IPs in cutting-edge CMOS nodes. From architecture to silicon bring-up, you’ll work hands-on with a world-class team shaping high-performance ICs for communications, sensing, and SoC products.
What You’ll Do
* Architect and design ADC/DAC solutions, balancing performance, power, and area trade-offs.
* Develop and simulate building blocks (bandgaps, op-amps, TIAs, filters, switched-cap circuits, LDOs).
* Create behavioral models and perform architecture-level analyses.
* Collaborate with layout engineers for precision, parasitic-aware designs.
* Support lab validation, debugging, and integration into system products.
What You Bring
* MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field.
* 3–5 years’ experience for mid-level; 6+ years for senior roles.
* Proven experience in mixed-signal IC design, especially ADC/DAC architectures.
* Strong grasp of analog fundamentals (noise, matching, linearity, stability).
* Proficiency with EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre) and behavioral modeling (Verilog-A, MATLAB, C).
* Experience with advanced CMOS technologies.
