OT Penetration Tester (Pentester)
Our client is seeking a skilled OT Penetration Tester to join their team in either the NRW region or Munich, offering a hybrid work model. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, analysing, and mitigating vulnerabilities in Operational Technology (OT) environments. Your work will contribute directly to the security of critical infrastructures and industrial control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform penetration testing and security assessments on OT environments, systems, and devices.
* Analyse security weaknesses and provide actionable recommendations to improve resilience against cyber threats.
* Develop, execute, and document testing scenarios tailored to OT systems and protocols.
* Collaborate with internal teams and clients to implement best practices for OT cybersecurity.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest OT security trends, tools, and techniques.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience working in OT environments, including exposure to industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA.
* Hands-on experience performing penetration tests with a solid understanding of vulnerabilities and exploits.
* Familiarity with OT protocols, tools (e.g., Nessus, Metasploit, or similar), and security frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443).
* Fluent German and English
* Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Industry certifications (e.g., OSCP, GIAC, or similar) in pentesting or cybersecurity.
* Experience in handling hybrid IT/OT environments.
* Familiarity with safety-critical infrastructure regulations in Germany.
