The products and services are based on the high-quality content of Thieme's 200 journals and 4,400 books. Full-time (40h/week)
Strategic Sales Leadership: You will develop and execute mid- and long-term sales strategies for our Journals in the DACH region, driving significant growth in our academic and corporate business while meeting annual sales targets.
~Full-Cycle Sales Management: With your deep understanding of the institutional sales cycle and passion for closing deals, you will lead the entire sales process – from initial contact to final agreement.
~Relationship Building & Account Management: Market Intelligence & Strategy: You analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop sales approaches tailored to the needs of the DACH market in close collaboration and alignment with journal product and marketing teams.
~Sales management: Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting in CRM systems, providing regular updates on sales activities, opportunities, and market insights to leadership.
At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in scholarly publishing, EdTech, or research services
~Proven success in negotiating and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder agreements (€100K+) with long sales cycles, particularly within academic or institutional environments
~Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
~Native-level German and Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
