Manufacturing Operations Manager (m/f/d)
Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for excellence in production and continuous improvement? We are seeking a dynamic Operations and Manufacturing Manager to join our team and lead our Environmental Assembly operations to new heights. In this role, you will be directly reporting to the European Managing Director.
This could be your daily business when you start with us:
* Production – Responsible for managing and directing operations for the Environmental Assembly.
* Technician and all support staff, to ensure individual and group efficiency regarding product quality and time standards.
* Provide management oversight and ensure staff training. Direct the selection, development, and performance assessment of the Assembly staff.
* Monitor and improve assembly processes. Ensure in-process and incoming assembly inspections are completed.
* Manage all associated Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) to process efficiently. Manage all associated information systems (Sales Force, et al) to provide documentation and record-keeping.
* Continuous Improvement – Develop, plan, and implement strategies and tactics to drive quantifiable improvements in overall productivity, efficiency, and Manufacturing cycle time reduction in all Manufacturing operations.
* Define and execute the key elements necessary for continued sustainable improvements in all phases of production utilizing applicable methodologies, Lean Manufacturing principles, and best practices in conjunction and in alignment with the Manufacturing Staff.
* Provide leadership and guidance to others to apply and implement operational excellence tools to solve problems and train those working towards these goals. This includes a focus on creating a workplace that encourages employees in all facets within the company to streamline and improve processes, reduce costs, and improve quality.
What you bring to the role:
* Ten (10) years of Engineering or Manufacturing-related experience.
* Five (5) years of supervisory and/or group leader experience.
* Some evidence of successfully directing others to complete assigned tasks within the framework of Project management milestones and timelines.
* Previous experience in managing a Production Unit with responsibility for quality, performance, and results.
* Experience with Mechanical/Electromechanical assembly operations.
* Some Lean Manufacturing and/or Total Quality Management experience preferred.
