YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES
* To ensure a primary school student with identified social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs has access to the IB PYP curriculum through the provision of in-class support
* To work collaboratively with mainstream colleagues to provide appropriate student support and the necessary program modifications and classroom accommodations
* Track and report student progress against identified academic, social, emotional or behavioural targets
* Collaborating with mainstream teachers and departmental colleagues for student success
YOUR QUALIFICATION
* Educated to degree level
* A ‘Special Needs’ qualification preferable
* Relevant experience working with students with learning needs in a mainstream environment
* Confident, self-motivated and with great people skills
* Experience of collaborating and working in teams
* Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
Important: Before beginning the employment at BBIS, the following documents must be submitted:
* Proof of immunity against measles, which must have been confirmed by a doctor if you were born after 1970. Alternatively, a medical certificate of medical contraindication can be provided.
* The original certificate of the highest obtained (university) degree
* An extended certificate of conduct that must not be older than six months.
These documents are required to comply with legal and internal employment regulations.
