Finance Transformation & Excellence Manager (f/m/d)
To support our Finance team we are searching for a Finance Transformation & Excellence Manager (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Finance Transformation & Projects: Support the execution of the Group’s finance transformation roadmap, contributing to specific workstreams and initiatives. Analyze current finance processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate activities. Support the rollout of new finance tools, processes, and ways of working, including change management activities. Track progress, risks, and dependencies across transformation projects, ensuring timely escalation where needed.
2. Operational Excellence & Cost Management: Contribute to the analysis and monitoring of General & Administrative (G&A) costs, including preparation of insights, dashboards, and variance analysis. Support the implementation and tracking of cost‑saving initiatives, ensuring transparency and accurate reporting of benefits.
3. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Support: Act as a key point of coordination between Group Finance, local finance teams, and external partners for assigned initiatives. Prepare materials and analyses for senior stakeholders, including the Group CFO and Finance leadership. Provide financial and analytical support to cross‑functional projects with a finance transformation impact (e.g. integration, restructuring, process redesign).
4. Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Support the definition and monitoring of KPIs related to finance transformation and operational excellence. Ensure proper documentation of processes, controls, and transformation outcomes. Contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
WHO YOU ARE
5. Strong understanding of core finance processes (e.g. accounting, controlling, reporting, cost management).
6. 3+ years of experience in consulting, finance transformation, finance operations, or a similar role within a complex, international organization.
7. Proven experience working on cross‑functional or multi‑country projects.
8. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into clear insights.
9. Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
10. Comfortable working in an evolving, transformation‑driven environment.
11. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders. Hands‑on mindset and willingness to dive into detail when needed.
