WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Media Analyst for Region Central Europe, you are responsible for analyzing consumer, as well as paid and owned media data to drive the regional media agenda in line with global guidelines. Your focus is on enhancing customer relationships, improving investment outcomes, and contributing to business growth through data-driven media strategies. You oversee data management and provide actionable insights that support effective use of media channels across all touchpoints. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you play a key role in optimizing media investments and activations throughout the entire customer journey.
You will:
* Gather and analyze data across owned, paid, and earned media channels to identify trends, consumer behavior, and opportunities for media optimization.
* Use analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Marketing Mix Modelling and Regression Based Attribution tools, to measure campaign performance and provide actionable insights that support campaign and business objectives.
* Support the Media and PR & Comms teams with data-driven recommendations for budget allocation, media planning, campaign optimization, and influencer activities.
* Track media performance across campaigns and channels, conducting post-campaign evaluations and scenario planning to guide investment decisions.
* Monitor social media metrics and sentiment to evaluate the impact of campaigns on brand perception and customer engagement.
* Develop and present quarterly business reviews, summarizing media performance and ROI, while supporting short-, mid-, and long-term planning.
* Stay up to date with advertising platform trends and best practices to ensure data relevance, quality, and continuous improvement in execution.
* Perform quality control and data audits to ensure accurate, reliable media data and campaign reporting.
* Co-create with regional media teams to set traffic and revenue forecasts and ensure effective budget allocation across media channels.
* Upskill and support Customer Activation & Marketing teams in understanding and applying media performance insights to enhance strategic decisions.
* Bring a test, learn & scale mindset to secure continuous learning and raising the bar for the team, but also the H&M brand.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Media Analyst, you will be part of the regional Insights & Analytics team, supporting the development and optimization of media strategies through close collaboration with the regional media team.
You will report to the Regional Insights & Analytics Manager, with a dotted line to the Media Manager, and work closely with media stakeholders to ensure data-informed planning and execution. The Insights & Analytics team is part of the broader Customer Activation & Marketing (CA&M) organization, which focuses on creating a unified and impactful customer experience across the region.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
* A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in media analysis, preferably in an international environment.
* Strong strategic and operational experience in media, including planning, execution, and understanding of customer acquisition and retention.
* Deep knowledge of media channels, media operations, and paid media platforms, including tools such as MMM.
* A solid grasp of digital marketing, SEO, and how different channels contribute to brand growth and customer engagement.
* Proven experience in setting and managing large media budgets.
* A highly analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
