Senior Researcher - Deep Data Science
The Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History conducts high-quality research in contemporary history with a focus on digital methods.
We are seeking a senior researcher with expertise in deep data science to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary research centre, you will conduct independent and collaborative research within one or more of our thematic areas.
Your main responsibilities include:
1. Developing training materials and workshops for doctoral candidates
2. Facilitating exchange and collaborations between historians, data scientists, and digital humanists
3. Publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at international conferences
In addition, you will assist in coordinating activities, including seminars, symposia, and public engagement.
We require a PhD in History, Digital Humanities, Data Science, or a related field, demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary research, excellent digital literacy, and strong communication skills in English.
You should also have good knowledge of French or German and be able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
