For our client we are currently looking for a AI Developer (m/f/d) - Remote/ Walldorf.
Your tasks
1. Design and implement agentic capabilities: tool/function calling, planning, memory/state, safety guardrails, and failure recovery for production stability.
2. Build advanced RAG pipelines on OpenSearch: hybrid retrieval, index/chunking strategies, embeddings/rerankers, query rewriting, and retrieval evaluation.
3. Develop and maintain API and MCP integrations: implement MCP servers/clients, capability manifests, tool adapters, and expose clean versioned REST/WebSocket APIs.
4. Create and iterate prompt strategies: instruction/few-shot design, tool-aware prompting, structured outputs/JSON, and prompt governance/guardrails.
5. Establish AI quality evaluation and testing: retrieval and response evaluation with RAGAS, DeepEval (or similar), regression suites, red-teaming, and line/online metrics.
6. Implement data access with SAP HANA using TypeORM: schema modeling, performant queries, migrations, and secure data handling.
7. Ensure observability and performance: instrument services, track latency/cost/quality with Dynatrace, define SLIs/SLOs, and optimize LLM workloads.
8. Build and maintain CI/CD for Kyma/Kubernetes: automated tests, security scanning, container build/versioning, safe rollbacks, and environment configuration.
9. Collaborate with product and architecture, document designs, and participate in reviews.
