We’ve delivered Grenadiers to customers all around the world. We’re building our double cab pick up, the Quartermaster.

We're doing things differently.
Your role: The Financial Accountant for DE Region responsible ensuring the accurate and timely reporting for the German entity – INEOS Automotive GmbH. The jobholder will be responsible for areas of accounting and ensuring the annual audits are completed according to local GAAP.
In addition to these core responsibilities the jobholder is expected to be more widely involved supporting any tax queries from the Tax manager as well as working with the wider finance team based in London to help streamline finance processes and improve monthly reporting.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end closing activities in accordance with Group policies and deadlines.
* Lead and complete all financial audits and liaise with external auditors ensuring completion of audit under German GAAP (HGB).
* Prepare revenue recognition journals and analyse contribution per vehicle monthly.
* Post all cash items and ensure all cash control accounts are clear each month end.
* Perform monthly reviews of all Balance Sheet function accruals, proactively resolving aged or material items to maintain accuracy and transparency.
* Maintain fixed asset register.
* Oversee and reconcile IC transactions including monthly recharge journals.
* Support Tax Manager in any queries in relation to tax returns for the entity.
* Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
* You will need to develop a good understanding of the accounting system including the Chart of Accounts (COA) along with the wider business structure, systems, and processes.
What we are looking for:
* Qualified ACCA/CPA/CIMA, or relevant degree and have few years of professional experience in Accounting.
* Financial understanding in general accounting in Local GAAP (HGB). In addition to IFRS (preferred), including month end closing.
* Automotive industry or similar would be a positive but is not essential.
* Knowledge of the SAP S4/HANA ERP system is an advantage.
* Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
* Ability to communicate clearly.
* Logical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
* Self-motivated and able to prioritise multiple activities.
* Able to work in a busy team environment and adhere to strict deadlines.
* Fluent spoken and written language skills in German & good language skills in English.
