Overview:
**CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**
SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Network Engineer -Task Lead t o support US Army requirements in the Europe & Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Responsibilities:
* Serve as Task Lead to ensure effective theater-wide management of this technical area.
* Facilitate flow of information from the PM to geographically dispersed task technical implementation personnel and ensure t ask implementation issues / challenges are communicated to the PM for resolution / awareness.
* Manage and mentor subordinates.
* Design, develop, and engineer comprehensive solutions to complex theater network challenges / problems.
* Review network engineering solutions from subordinates and ensure integration of best practices across theater network solutions.
* Drive standardization of theater network solutions for all supported organizations.
* Oversee network engineering tasks and responses to ensure integration of best practices.
* Manage and mentor subordinate personnel.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, or an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 16 years’ experience.
* An active Top Secret / SCI security clearance.
* DOD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) 441 Certs : SecurityX / CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT, or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for document management and various administrative tasks.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders and organize materials for In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings.
* Experience producing metrics and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
* Demonstrated history of discretion, independent judgment, and self-direction.
Working Conditions:
* Normal office conditions with potential to perform duties in deployed locations.
* Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700
* May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
* It is anticipated that contractor personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations based on USAREUR-AF and Mission Partner requirements.
