Strategic Account Executive â German Public Sector (Cybersecurity SaaS)

They are on a mission to transform how organisations protect access and identities across the digital ecosystem. By building a powerful suite of cybersecurity SaaS tools, they're enabling enterprises to stay one step ahead in a constantly evolving threat landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a strategic sales role focused on identifying and closing new opportunities in the German Public Sector. Youâll manage end-to-end deal cycles, help shape go-to-market initiatives, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead business development efforts across federal, healthcare, and local government agencies in Germany
* Build and execute a territory plan for new logo acquisition and expansion
* Own forecasting, pipeline creation, and relationship management with high-level decision-makers
* Promote product adoption and expansion within existing accounts
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (SEs, product, marketing, and channel teams) to deliver tailored solutions
* Work with the channel ecosystem to accelerate revenue and extend market reach
* Align with SDRs to maximize coverage across addressable accounts
* Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences
* Maintain CRM hygiene (Salesforce) and report on all activity accurately
* Prepare and lead customer RFP submissions and proposals
What Weâre Looking For:
* 4+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally within the German public sector
* Proven track record of building pipelines and exceeding quota in a new business capacity
* Deep understanding of government procurement processes and stakeholder dynamics
* Experience selling cybersecurity, identity, or IT infrastructure software is a strong plus
* Proficiency in Salesforce and experience managing complex deal cycles
* Confident communicator who can tailor messaging for both technical and business audiences
* Familiarity with indirect sales channels and co-selling strategies
* Fluent in German and English
* Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and conferences as needed
Bonus Points:
* Previous experience selling PAM (Privileged Access Management) or identity security solutions
* Formal sales training (e.g., SPIN, MEDDIC, Sandler, Miller Heiman)
* Exposure to strategic account management and account-based marketing models
