Job Description
Your Challenge
1. We want to strengthen our chemical Analysis team in Hamburg with a dedicated Scientist for method developments / Food chemist with GC x GC and LC-ToF-expertise (m/f/d) for implementation of contaminant () and pesticide residue analysis in several matrices using state-of-the-art instruments.
2. In your role you will directly report to Lead of European Corporate Analytical.
Your Responsibilities
3. Development of analytical methods; preferably GC x GC and LC-ToF-MS methods
4. Development of sample preparation techniques
5. Validations according to international standards
6. Drafting of standard operation procedures
7. Communication with adjacent departments (Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Operations) and research management functions
8. Cooperation within global analytical and R&D-projects
9. Analytical support for R&D projects
10. Food law assessments
Your Profile
11. High safety and health consciousness
12. Master/PhD degree in chemistry (food chemistry, natural products, analytical chemistry) or similar
13. At least 5 years of professional experience in this field
14. Experience in various analytical techniques; preferably GC x GC and LC-ToF-MS methods
15. Experienced in the field of contaminants/ agricultural residue analysis
16. Fluent German and English language skills, written and spoken
17. Good communication skills
18. Willingness to travel in the region (< 10 %)
