* Contribute to test automation strategy by improving coverage, reliability, and feedback speed in CI/CD pipelines
* Review automation code written in TypeScript and JavaScript, sharing best practices and constructive feedback
* Apply AI-optimised testing approaches such as visual testing, AI-assisted test generation, defect prediction, and Playwright MCP usage
* Design and implement continuous testing practices, including test planning, execution, reporting, and defect analysis
* Contribute to discussions on testing architecture, tooling, and quality practices
* Support and mentor less experienced engineers through pairing, reviews, and knowledge sharing
* Collaborate with DevOps, Platform, Security, and Product teams to embed quality into delivery workflows
* Use observability tooling such as Datadog and automation metrics to identify early signs of platform instability
* Continuously explore and experiment with tools and techniques that improve test effectiveness and delivery speed
Your Profile
* Proven experience as a senior test automation engineer in a product-driven engineering environment
* Strong hands-on expertise building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright
* Experience with performance testing, including K6, and analysing performance results
* Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile practices, and CI/CD pipelines
* Comfortable reviewing automation code and contributing to shared testing standards
* Exposure to AI-powered development or testing tools, including modern IDEs and MCP servers
* Working knowledge of Docker or containerised environments
* Experience using Datadog or similar observability and troubleshooting tools
* Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
* Strong Git and source-control practices
* Collaborative mindset, comfortable working across engineering and product teams
* Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to improving quality
