Your day involves collaborating with teams to develop technical solutions for advanced energy and drive systems. You'll review technical documents, align with sub-suppliers and customers, and ensure project specifications are met. Whether coordinating commissioning, solving interdisciplinary technical issues, or preparing specifications, your expertise in large electrical drives and medium voltage systems is essential.You'll manage project risks, provide technical inputs, and ensure timely execution while navigating global standards and working with diverse teams. 1. Development of standards and technical specifications for electrical drives, along with participation in technical clarifications with sub-suppliers and customers
2. Ensuring timely fulfillment of all technical obligations, including coordination with external suppliers
3. Preparation of technical specifications based on customer requirements and engineering agreements
4. Coordination of commissioning and test runs for variable drive systems
5. Resolution of interdisciplinary technical questions during project execution
6. Support of the project team in defining interfaces for electrical components and participation in kick-off meetings with suppliers and customers
What You Bring
7. Master’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) with a focus on energy and drive technology
8. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project execution, research and development, or a similar role
9. Proven expertise in large electrical drives up to 100 MW, including accessories for cooling, control, monitoring, and protection of medium voltage motors, converters, switchgears, and transformers
10. In-depth knowledge of inverter topologies (VSI vs. LCI) and their interaction with transformer and motor design, in accordance with IEC60034, NEMA MG 1, and API standards
11. Understanding and application of Explosion Protection Methods as per IEC 60079 and NFPA 70 NEC 500/505
12. Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and intercultural competence
