Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with German Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), and Pillar II regulations.
* Lead tax audits and support statutory audit processes.
* Oversee tax reporting and maintain SOX tax controls.
* Handle withholding tax and non-routine tax issues.
* Implement new tax rules and processes across Germany.
* Collaborate with the EMEA Tax Manager on transfer pricing matters.
* Maintain and review local Transfer Pricing documentation annually.
* Support new intercompany flows and cross-border transactions.
* Review intercompany contracts and tax-related invoices.
* Oversee monthly VAT filings and coordinate with external advisors.
* Develop and implement a Tax Control Framework (TCF) to mitigate risks.
Requirements:
* University degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Extensive, relevant experience in German tax compliance and advisory.
* Strong expertise in German CIT, VAT, WHT, and international tax principles.
* Fluent in German and English.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
