The Specialist GenAI Platform role supports enterprise-wide Generative AI strategy implementation, focusing on governance, security, compliance, and scalability while enabling cross-functional adoption of reusable GenAI assets. You will develop and maintain our GenAI Platform solutions, such as our internal company chatbot & associated software & infrastructure components. Furthermore, you will drive the platform adoption through hands-on support for AI/Data Engineers and basic AI training for business users and offer support for the enhancement of the GenAI Platform by aligning on new features and associated software architectures. The GenAI platform serves internal and external AI/Data Engineers who develop and deploy AI use cases. We provide essential building blocks—infrastructure, libraries, and best practices—to accelerate their development process. Our tech stack includes AWS, Azure, Databricks, and GitHub. Your responsibilities are:
* Develop and implement GenAI-related features (e.g., within our internal company chatbot) to improve productivity and user experience in the digital workplace
* Support in architectural decisions for AI solutions, ensuring best practices and seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure through cross-functional collaboration
* Assist the enterprise-wide implementation and scaling of the GenAI Framework and Platform in collaboration with AI/Data Engineering roles, driving asset reuse and efficiency while supporting onboarding and training, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
* Stay current with GenAI advancements and trends, evaluate their platform impact, maintain repositories of use cases and reusable assets, and share insights through knowledge-sharing platforms, blogs, and leadership recommendations
* Promote awareness of AI capabilities across the organization and foster an innovative approach to AI integration (e.g. training business end users)
What you have to offer.
* University degree in (bio- or business-) informatics or equivalent work experience
* Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g. Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript)
* Proven experience in developing (Gen)AI use cases
* Experience in modern software development (Cloud-first, CI/CD, IaC etc.)
* Proven expertise in gathering and analyzing requirements and executing business analysis tasks
* Experience with integrated AI/data platforms (e.g. Databricks) is beneficial
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders
* Analytical mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Fluent English skills, both oral and written; German is a plus
