Our client is a rapidly growing technology leader in the European defence and high-tech industry. As part of its continued international expansion, we are seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive growth across assigned European markets. You will build and manage long-term partnerships with local third-party partners in the defence industry, develop a resilient sales pipeline, lead complex solution proposals and responses to RFIs/RFPs, and be accountable for achieving new-business targets. The role requires deep knowledge of European defence markets, regulations and export controls, and proven success closing deals in the defence / aerospace / military sector.
Aufgaben
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies across assigned European markets to achieve revenue, margin and growth targets.
* Identify and drive new business opportunities while building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
* Establish and manage strategic partnerships with OEMs, distributors, system integrators and prime contractors.
* Lead complex bid and pursuit processes, including proposal development, pricing, solution design and RFI/RFP submissions.
* Ensure compliance with export control regulations and support licensing and approval processes.
* Represent the company at industry events and customer engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
Profil
* Proven track record in business development and sales within the European defence sector is a MUST.
* Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field; advanced qualifications are advantageous.
* Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Deep understanding of defence procurement processes and export control regulations.
* Willingness to travel internationally; additional European language skills are highly advantageous.
* Desirable: Established network within the European defence ecosystem, including primes, integrators and government stakeholders.
