Current INTERNAL Local National Employees throughout Germany. This covers all current Local National employees of the U.S. Forces in Germany, including U.S. Air Force and AAFES-Europe within Germany.

EXTERNAL Local National Applicants, who reside in Germany.


Hauptaufgaben

Position is located in a DeCA Commissary store and incumbent serves as a liaison between the store and the HQ Accounts Control Section (ACS). The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of store-level work associated with accounts and price maintenance. Incumbent may also be assigned supply clerical duties.

On a daily basis, from the Frequent Delivery System (FDS) Confirmation Report, prints an On-Demand Report and forwards to the receivers. From inventory information provided by the receivers, uses the FDC Pull Listing - Automatic and ensures the accuracy of items received reconciling any issues and closing out the FDS pulls in the DeCA Interim Business System (DIBS). For direct store delivery items (DSD) received on a daily basis, verifies receipts against vendor invoices. Resolves any discrepancies using the DSD web site and logs and files invoices. Performs both a weekly and bi-weekly roll up on the DSD web site.
From DIBS, for grocery and meat, runs order work sheet identifying authorized items that can be ordered by the vendors. Places the order in DIBS using the delivery date assigned by the vendor. After the system assigns a call order number, prints out the receiving work sheets and forwards to the receivers. Once items have been received and scanned into the system, verifies receipt matches invoice. Makes necessary adjustments using the Direct Store Delivery-Single Order (DSD-S) web site. Completes the DSD-S transmission report which is automatically forwarded to the HQ ACS. Using DIBS, runs Requisition Order Receipts (ROR) for produce and deli and assigns a call number. Scans receipts to ACS. Inputs and/or updates prices into the Commissary Advanced Resale Transaction System (CARTS) for produce, deli, and meat. Prints price change labels and signs on a daily basis. Reconciles daily reports received from the cash cage with information in CARTS. Generates Report of Deposit. Pulls Deposit Ticket Report and reconciles with daily recap report for checks. Identifies any issues to the HQ for resolution. Scans Vendor Credit Memos (VCMs), back up report of deposit, produce and deli receipts, and any other accounting-related documents, and transfers to the ACS. Balances information with the Summary Audit Log (SAL) generated by HQ ACS. Assigns document numbers to VCMs and reviews for completion. Maintains the Vendor Credit Memo Document Log accounting for each VCM. Collects funds from the vendors, prepares cash collection voucher and deposit slip and forwards to the cash cage for bank deposit. As necessary, scans documents to the HQ ACS. Prepares the VCM report and closes out at roll-up ensuring paperwork is received from the distributor. On a monthly basis, balances all reports against the Voucher Register General Control Report (VRGC) reconciling any problems. Provides to management for signature. As assigned, responsible for cigarettes and tobacco products. Places orders, inventories product, and ensures price accuracy changing prices in the computer when promotions are identified. Prepares shelf labels. Occasionally stocks items. Operates a computer tenninal which is linked directly to all electronic cash registers, electronic digital scales, hand held terminals, and check verification tenninals. Performs price look-up files maintenance for price changes by keying computer to accept price quotes entered into the system at HQ. Prints and reviews supplemental price listings, new shelf labels, and other reports as required. Corrects prices and shelf labels as necessary. Responds to cashier and/or department inquiries concerning item prices. Maintains records such as maintenance logs, computer downtime logs, contractor response and repair time information, and availability record for each system component.

C1-04:

E&T Level I: 1 year of creditable experience that included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.

Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation, must have 2 years of creditable experience that included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.

E&T Level II and above: No additional experience required.

Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.


• Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency level C1 required.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen

Es handelt sich um eine unbefristete Teilzeitstelle (20 Std. /Woche). / This is a permanent part-time position (20 hrs /week).

• Working on weekends and holidays as well as rotating shift work required.
• Employee must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
