Are you a change management expert ready to make a lasting impact in manufacturing?
We’re seeking one experienced Consultant to lead the transformation of our plant operations in Rinteln, Germany. You will be responsible for implementing a proven management system that has already delivered strong results in our U.S. pilot plant in Toano, Virginia.
Your mission: to lead this transformation at the local level, ensuring the adoption and sustainability of new systems and behaviors. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team from the plant in Rinteln and coordinate daily with a senior consultants from the U.S.
What You’ll Do
1. Lead the Change: Act as the primary driver of operational and cultural transformation within the Rinteln plant.
2. Coach & Mentor: Support plant leadership and teams through daily coaching, workshops, and problem-solving sessions.
3. Ensure Results: Guide the implementation of management systems that improve performance, efficiency, and long-term results.
Qualifications
4. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5. Minimum of 5 years' experience in change management or transformation within manufacturing environments.
6. Strong knowledge of production and operational frameworks (e.g., Lean Thinking, OEE, Theory of Constraints).
7. Experience with Maintenance and Operations Management Operating Systems (MOS).
8. Proven success leading change initiatives in complex industrial settings.
9. Fluency in both English and German is required.
Additional Information
10. This is a freelance/contractor role with O-I Germany.
11. You will be assigned exclusively to the Rinteln plant for the full duration of the project.
12. The project runs from September 8th, 2025 to January 23rd, 2026 - Monday to Friday, full-time.
13. US-based training is scheduled from September 8th to September 12th.
14. You will receive ongoing support and coordination from U.S. based consultants throughout the project.
