Legal Advisor - Intellectual Property (m/f/d)

Your seat to fill:
1. Take full ownership of complex IP matters and serve as a trusted strategic advisor to business stakeholders across the EMEA region, with a strong focus on intellectual property law — particularly trademark, copyright, and unfair competition law
2. Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and legal documents, ensuring robust protection of IP rights and alignment with business objectives
3. Manage and further develop our global trademark portfolio, coordinating filings, renewals, oppositions, and related proceedings in close collaboration with external counsel and international partners
4. Enforce and defend our intellectual property rights, including overseeing and conducting litigation proceedings in Germany where required
5. Work closely with colleagues within the EMEA Legal Team and cross-functional departments such as Brand, Product, Marketing, and Sales on multi-jurisdictional and cross-functional projects
Your stroll to CYBEX:
6. Fully qualified lawyer, admitted to the German bar
7. Solid professional experience in intellectual property law, with strong expertise in trademark and copyright matters
8. Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in an international business environment
9. Experience in IP enforcement and litigation in Germany is highly desirable
10. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
11. Business-oriented mindset combined with strong analytical skills and a pragmatic, solution-driven approach
12. Self-driven and structured working style, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
13. Team player with strong communication skills and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders
