Description
KNIME is growing rapidly and we’re seeking smart, motivated, and creative people up for the challenge of helping us achieve ambitious scaling goals while continuing to empower the active community. Right now, we are looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) to join our HR Operations team at KNIME in Konstanz*.
Who you are
You’re someone who loves to help others and keep things organised. Whether it’s making sure schedules are on track, documents are in order, or questions get answered - you’re there to make it all run smoothly. You're comfortable using Office tools like spreadsheets and Word, and you're the type who follows up, stays on top of tasks, and communicates clearly.
More importantly, you’re curious about the world of HR and excited to learn how it all works - from onboarding new team members to understanding HR operations and processes. Maybe you’ve already worked in a similar role or completed a commercial apprenticeship (or something comparable) - great! But if not, your motivation and willingness to learn are what count.
Bonus if you know a bit about Germany’s social security system or have a commercial mindset. Don’t worry if you don’t - we’ll help you get up to speed with how things work at KNIME.
* A student enrolled in a degree program in Psychology or similar in a University/FH/HTWG in Konstanz.
* English is essential. German is a nice plus.
* You are living in Konstanz, and can come to our office regularly.
As a part-time student, you should be available for at least 12 months. The maximum weekly working time is 20 hrs/week during the semester and 40 hrs/week during semester breaks.
In order to apply, please, attach a CV, a cover letter and an enrolment university certificate, and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
That's the job
In this role, you’ll get hands-on experience in the daily work of HR. That means supporting tasks like writing reference letters, helping onboard Working Students, organising Student Nights, and responding to HR-related questions.
You’ll be working closely with the HR team, and you’ll regularly connect with KNIMErs from different parts of the company. We’ll guide you as you learn how our processes work and once you’re confident, you’ll help us improve them too.
This is your chance to grow your skills in a supportive environment while making a real difference behind the scenes. And most importantly: you’ll be helping us create a great experience for everyone at KNIME.
What we offer
* The chance to become part of an aspiring, fun, and young work environment.
* The opportunity to grow within a quality driven company.
* The opportunity to learn about KNIME.
