You will be part of a highly skilled Technical Services Group (TSG) supporting customers and internal engineering teams across multiple product lines. Our team combines deep technical expertise with handsu2011on product knowledge to ensure safe, reliable, and highu2011quality performance of access systems and other key train subsystems. You will collaborate daily with customers, project teams, OE engineering departments, and crossu2011functional stakeholders to resolve issues, implement improvements, and maintain product performance throughout the lifecycle. How will you make a difference? As a member of the Technical Services Group (TSG), you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and lifecycle support for Access systems and potentially additional product lines such as Couplers, HVAC, or Doors.You will act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding technical matters, translating their requirements into engineering specifications and guiding issue resolution. You will develop and maintain technical documentation, lead feasibility assessments, and support project execution with accurate and timely deliverables.Your work ensures product safety, manages obsolescence, supports spareu2011parts availability, and contributes directly to customer satisfaction and operational performance. What will your typical day look like? Serve as the main technical entry point for customers and internal stakeholders related to Door systems Provide technical support for customer issues, safety cases, and hotu2011issue resolution Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications Prepare technical documentation, interface definitions, and integration plans Manage BOMs and documentation updates for standard overhauls (OVH) and upgrades Conduct feasibility studies and fleet assessments for custom engineering requests Manage spareu2011parts documentation, including drawing updates and obsolescence handling Facilitate communication between TSG project teams and OE engineering departments Support on-site repair, overhaul, or upgrade activities Participate in technical reviews and customer meetings Support the Technical Customer Interface (TCI) with system expertise Contribute to tender and technical offer preparation Ensure onu2011time delivery (OTD) of project execution tasks Qualifications What do we want to know about you? Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field Minimum 5 years of handsu2011on experience with access or door systems (design, maintenance, or service) or in a similar heavy industry Experience with ERP/MRP systems for spareu2011parts and BOM maintenance Knowledge of obsolescence and lifecycle management principles Excellent communication skills and confidence in customeru2011facing situations Strong analytical and problemu2011solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and OE engineering Strong timeu2011management skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure Flexibility to provide onsite support and travel when required Additional Information We offer: Collective wage agreement pay Permanent employment Vacation pay Christmas bonus Contribution to capital-forming benefits Company pension plan 30 days of vacation per calendar year Company cafeteria available Lease a job bike Subsidy for the Germany Ticket Further education opportunities _Legal authorization to work in EU is required.
