Lead Data Protection in an Industry Driving Global Change! For our partner in the international energy industry we are looking for a Data Protection Consultant (m/f/d) for Düsseldorf site. The energy industry is rapidly transforming, and with that comes the need for robust data protection. As a Data Protection Consultant, your expertise ensures that cutting-edge energy solutions remain secure and compliant with the highest data protection standards. Your task:
* Supporting daily operations by addressing data protection inquiries from the business
* Reviewing and onboarding applications by assessing new tools for integration into the Data Protection Management System
* Documenting processing activities through the maintenance and updating of records of processing activities
* Assisting with training and knowledge transfer by helping to prepare and deliver workshops that enhance data protection awareness within the organization
Your qualification:
* Degree in law, data protection, information security, or a related field
* Prior experience or knowledge in data protection or legal compliance
* Skills in project management or process optimization
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
* Fluency in English; German must be good
