Palls F&B Business Unit (>$200M revenue) provides filtration solutions to Beer, Food, Wine & Spirits, Alcohol Free Beverages, Dairy manufacturers to improve process yield and protect downstream assets.
The Senior Director of Sales for F&B EMEA is tasked with spearheading the region's efforts to meet and exceed orders, shipments, and standard margin targets. This role involves managing and supporting distribution partners, as well as assisting Global Strategic Accounts as necessary.
A deep understanding of market dynamics and the identification of spec-winning opportunities will be crucial in driving profitable growth. This position reports directly to the VP/GM of F&B, with a preferred location in Italy, the UK, or Germany. The role is on-site and includes 4 to 5 direct reports along with a team of approximately 40 associates.
In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to:
- Formulate and execute sales strategies that align with financial objectives for the region.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and assess the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and areas for differentiation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve specific objectives and advance shared goals. - Cultivate and strengthen relationships with senior leaders at key customer accounts, leading to customized solutions and enduring partnerships.
- Utilize available resources strategically to meet objectives across geography, market segments, products, and accounts.
- Disseminate effective best practices throughout the organization, empowering other teams to replicate successful strategies and enhance overall performance.
- Implement and uphold standardized work processes to ensure consistency and efficiency in reaching sales targets.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* Bachelors degree in engineering or related science discipline.
* Minimum of 5 yearsin a senior sales leadership role.
* Experienced in managing sales leaders and teamsacross multiple international locations.
* Proven expertise in strategic sellingto large global enterprises with a multi-location footprint.
* Proven ability to build sustainable relationshipsand leverage customer insights to address unmet and evolving needs.
* Skill in developing and sustaining plansthat account for complex interdependencies with other stakeholders.
* Ability to mentor othersin effective communication techniques and integrate diverse viewpoints into decisions.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
* Overseeing leadership teams in EMEA
* Collaborating effectively with diverse cultures.
* Travelling regionally and internationally when needed
