Responsible for the design and delivery of complex high-rise engineering projects, ensuring the safe, efficient and innovative use of climbing platform and protection systems.
Work with PERI colleagues in the delivery of complex high-rise projects, managing the preparation of technical documentation for delivery, fabrication and assembly
Prepare and present proposals to customers
Support the preparation of offers with technical advice and guidance on both standard and non-standard system applications
Create preliminary calculations to support projects during the offer phase and prepare cost calculations
Prepare detailed structural calculations, "Proof of Stability" in accordance with UK codes and legislation
Work with 3rd party Engineers to evaluate the system design and static proofs
Design custom components and produce assembly and fabrication drawings for production

Stand Out From The Crowd - What Distinguishes You
University Degree (Civil or Mechanical Engineering), key areas: construction, steel construction, building operations, or similar education such as master craftsperson (Civil or Mechanical Engineering), or technician with sufficient experience and skills
3+ years practical/professional experience in designing climbing systems for high-rise buildings and / or other similar applications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of and experience with CAD software
Knowledge of and experience with RSTAB or similar software
