Financial Reporting Analyst (all genders) bei BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking

BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking is a bridge between large multinationals and mid-sized companies with international business activities (Corporates) and institutional investors and financial service providers (Institutionals). The division is a leading provider of sustainable financing and investment solutions.

The Financial Reporting Analyst position operates in the Team of Head Office Reporting("HO") within Financial Synthesis of the German Branch Finance Platform.

In the role of Financial Reporting Analyst, you will ensure accurate and reliable reporting of financials to the group, local management and regulators in IFRS and FGAAP and Consolidation and will also be involved in the preparation of financials as per local GAAP to support Tax.

You will be actively involved in the Liquidity Reporting for the Branch

The scope of financial reporting includes BNPP S.A. Germany Branch, Asset Management German and Austrian entities and 2 German SPVs.

The position also works in close collaboration with Accounting, P&L synthesis, Finance Permanent Control, Risk, etc.

Tasks & Responsibilities: What awaits you

Producing the monthly and quarterly closing and financial reporting and Regulatory Reporting process of the BNPP S.A. Germany Branch, Asset Management German and Austrian entities and SPVs towards the Head Office

Ensuring compliance with Group accounting standards and financial reporting requirements

Participation in preparation of ad-hoc reporting to the group.

Ensuring proper documentation of the processes and exhaustive and comprehensible audit trails

Producing Liquidity information on monthly and quarterly closing

Ensuring close coordination with local and central finance teams

Reconciling the Liquidity information to Accounting quarterly for all business lines

Preparation of Mapping files and documentations to supplement Liquidity Reporting

Contributing to automation and simplification of existing processes.

Expertise & Soft Skills: What you offer

Bachelor's/ Master's degree or above in Finance, Accounting

At least 2 years of experience in Accounting /Financial Reporting, preferably in a banking organization

Strong Accounting base

Understanding of IFRS and basic financial products

Solid understanding of financial statements and experience in financial reporting and analysis

Ability to collect, analyze, control and consolidate financial data to establish bank financial statements and regulatory reporting

Ability to define and spread the regulatory and accounting requirements that apply to reporting and consolidated statements, good knowledge of IFRS norms

Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel and visualization tools

Knowledge of Matisse would be helpful

Strong communication and organizational skills

Full professional proficiency in English
