Student Master Thesis Structural Civil Engineering (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
* You will work on the development of an integrated simulation model (Finite Element model) of a wind turbine foundation
* You will work together with experienced structural and civil engineers and contribute to developing and optimizing the design and implementing new functionalities
* You will learn to work with advanced analysis software and the common standards in the wind industry specific to structural engineering
* You will participate in internal and external training courses aimed at both developing your knowledge of wind turbine technology and our organization, as well as your personal development
Your Qualifications
* Master's degree in civil engineering or a comparable specialisation
* Enthusiasm for engineering and renewable energies as well as the motivation to develop yourself further in this field
* Proactive, eager to learn and practice-orientated way of working
* Good communication skills in English written and spoken, knowledge of German is a plus
* You have knowledge of the finite element method (FEM), especially in dealing with solid elements and ideally, you already have experience with Ansys software
* A good understanding of the material behaviour of concrete
* Determination and commitment to develop yourself into a qualified civil/structural engineer
