Senior Vice President AI Transformation and Scaling (f/m/div.)
Senior Vice President AI Transformation and Scaling (f/m/div.) – a high‑impact role that sits at the intersection of AI, technology transformation and enterprise innovation. The VP will drive the strategic development, execution and scaling of Generative and Agentic AI across Bosch, embedding AI capabilities across digital platforms, enterprise architectures and data foundations while partnering with business units to create measurable customer value and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Vision & Enablement – Craft and articulate a compelling vision for Generative AI, secure stakeholder buy‑in, and champion AI across Bosch, demystifying concepts and building trust for adoption.
* Strategic Direction & Roadmap – Define a Bosch‑wide GenAI strategy that aligns with cloud modernization, software‑defined systems and the digital backbone; prioritize high‑impact use cases that drive revenue, cost savings and new products.
* Technology & Platform Development – Lead the evolution of Bosch’s AI and data architecture to cloud‑native, modular, interoperable environments; design and maintain a GenAI platform with foundational models, MLOps frameworks and enterprise‑grade architecture.
* Execution & Scaling – Establish an operational framework to prototype, develop, test and deploy GenAI solutions; lead a high‑performing core team of GenAI experts and support scaling through adaptable infrastructure and data pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Technical Foundation – Deep understanding of modern data and AI architectures (data mesh, cloud‑native integration, federated learning) and scalable AI deployment.
* Enterprise Technology Transformation Experience – Proven ability to integrate AI strategies with enterprise modernization efforts (ERP transformation, digital platforms, cloud migration, software‑defined systems).
* AI/ML Expertise – Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, NLP and generative AI technologies.
* Cloud & Infrastructure Integration – Familiarity with AI‑enabling platforms (Azure AI, AWS, GCP, etc.) and edge deployments.
* Governance & Ethics – Understanding of responsible AI, model interpretability, bias mitigation and compliance frameworks.
* Automation & Analytics – Proficiency in leveraging AI for process automation, predictive analytics and decision optimization.
* Emerging Tech Awareness – Up‑to‑date with advancements in agentic AI, multimodal models and AI safety frameworks.
* Impactful Communication – Ability to translate complex technical topics into business‑friendly language and actionable insights for diverse audiences.
* Strategic Foresight & Risk Mitigation – Identify high‑impact use cases, develop phased GenAI strategy and roadmap, and evaluate technical, ethical and operational risks.
* Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Change Management – Bridge expertise across departments, guide adoption of new GenAI methodologies and foster an agile corporate culture.
* Leadership Experience – 10+ years in IT or software industry with focus on technology and business; proven global leadership; significant experience in AI strategy, development or product management.
* Languages – Fluent in English; German is an asset.
Additional Requirements
* Master’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software or Digital relevant field.
* Experience in a large, complex global organization preferred.
