Responsibilities:
1. Defining the software architecture for next generations of lithography systems; shaping the digital future of ZEISS in Semiconductor Manufacturing.
2. Finding optimal solutions for pre- and post-processing diagnostics data in software structure, technology stack, and development tools, considering hardware, legacy, and performance constraints, possibly including AI or classical solutions and hardware support dealing with large data volumes.
3. Analyzing system requirements, aligning on technical specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders like system designers, software developers, POs, and electronics teams.
4. Guiding team members to adhere to best coding standards, build pipelines, with efficient/automated builds, testing, and deployment.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience as a software architect or developer in machine data management and analysis, with proficiency in UML, design patterns, and methods like SysML, C4, OPM, using tools such as Enterprise Architect.
* Strong knowledge of C and C++, experience with build systems like Azure DevOps Pipelines and Git.
* Experience developing real-time and non-real-time data management solutions on Linux and bare-metal systems, optionally with hardware ML processing.
* Excellent communication skills, clarity, empathy, and a passion for solving complex challenges independently and collaboratively; proficiency in English, optionally German.
