Key Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support in both English and German
2. Manage calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements
3. Independent preparation, formatting, and editing of documents, presentations, and correspondence, including reports and scientific communication
4. Independent planning and coordination of courses, meetings, seminars, events, and research projects
5. Act as a liaison between the research laboratory and university administration
6. Management of third-party funds (DFG, EU, etc.)
7. Preparation and support for committee work and project proposals"
8. Maintenance and updating of databases and website content related to teaching and research
9. Interface function between scientific staff, administrative units and external partners
10. Support onboarding of new members and general office management (in coordination with the Lab Manager)
Required Qualifications
11. Vocational training ( Kauffrau/Kaufmann für Büromanagement) or equivalent qualification. A university degree would be advantageous
12. Full professional proficiency in English and German is required
13. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
14. Experience in administrative tasks as well as appointment and travel organization is a plus
15. Previous experience in a similar support role in an academic research or clinical environment
16. Proficient use of academic tools ( EndNote, BioRender, Prism, or similar)
17. Intercultural competence and teamwork skills to contribute to an inclusive work environment
18. Independent and structured way of working and discretion in handling sensitive information
