YOUR TASKS
* Market & Competitor Analysis: Perform in-depth market research and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
* Support M&A Transactions: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities within the aftermarket segment of the commercial vehicles division. Support conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and strategic fit assessments in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Drive Post-Merger Integration (PMI): Contribute to planning and implementation of integration activities post-acquisition. Monitor synergy realization, align business processes, and support cultural and organizational integration.
* Strategic Projects: Help conducting and assuring successful development and implementation of highly strategic relevant topics (e.g. launch of new partner concepts, cooperations with partners, analysis of new market segment, digitalization opportunities)
YOUR PROFILE
* Enrolled student in a Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or similar, with a focus on Finance, Strategy or M&A
* Fluent in English (written and spoken), German language skills are a strong plus
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, experience with financial modeling tools, data visualization like Power BI is an advantage
* Strong affinity and interest in technical products and markets (commercial vehicle industry or automotive industry, ideally with a focus on the aftermarket)
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high communication skills, good comprehension, high flexibility
* Basic understanding of strategic business development and corporate finance. Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset are essential
