About the Role
A dynamic and fast-growing advisory firm is seeking a (Senior) Consultant to join its Transaction Advisory team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including sell-side and buy-side mandates, strategic advisory, and select restructuring engagements. You'll gain early responsibility and exposure to clients in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that values initiative and analytical precision.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage or support M&A transactions from start to finish, including financial and strategic analysis, coordination, and delivery
* Prepare investor materials such as teasers, information memoranda, and fact books
* Build financial models, conduct valuation analyses, and structure business cases
* Participate in management presentations, site visits, and investor meetings
* Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders and guide junior team members
* Support negotiations for transaction documents such as share purchase agreements
* Depending on experience, contribute to restructuring and reorganization projects
* Take an active role in internal knowledge-sharing and contribute to team development
Required Skills & Qualifications
* University degree in business, finance, law, or a related field
* 4–5+ years of relevant experience in M&A advisory, corporate finance, consulting, or audit
* Solid project management capabilities and analytical thinking
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presence
* Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
* First leadership experience or a strong desire to grow into a team lead role
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
* Fluent in German and English (C1+)
* Willingness to travel domestically (~40%)
