The Ecosystem First and Net New Names Leader is a strategic position within the Corporate Global Leadership team at SAP. This role is crucial in expanding our public cloud market share through proactive new customer acquisition and enhancing global partner-driven sales initiatives. The leader will guide a dedicated team to unify global functions, ensuring seamless implementation across SAP regions and Market Units. The position reports directly to the Global Corporate & GROW leader.
Responsibilities
* Partner-Driven Sales: Develop governance and collaboration frameworks with SAP’s board areas, CRO, and Strategic Operations to boost partner-driven sales. Co-drive partner initiatives, assist regional leaders in demand generation, optimize channel landscape, shape GTM strategies, and ensure global synchronization.
* Drive Public Cloud Market Share through Customer Acquisition: Collaborate across teams to facilitate customer journeys, identify and onboard growth potential VARs, analyze acquisition funnels, design multi-channel acquisition strategies, contribute to SAP’s 2026 GTM strategy, and leverage data insights for new opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
* Leadership experience in ecosystem development and strategic sales, preferably in cloud businesses.
* Strong analytical and strategic skills with a proven record of revenue growth.
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Deep knowledge of SAP’s products, processes, and industry trends.
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
* Experience in customer acquisition or growth marketing roles.
* Proficiency in marketing data analysis and strategic decision-making.
* Robust project management skills.
* Strategic mindset focused on measurable results.
* Minimum 10 years in IT Sales across multiple channels and segments.
* Attributes: senior, entrepreneurial, self-motivated, industry-savvy, results-oriented.
Location: Flexible for global travel and collaboration with regional teams.
