Application Architect
We are seeking a skilled Application Architect to drive the deployment of state-of-the-art IT solutions and create synergies between application landscapes.
This role involves participating in major transformation projects that require new IT solutions to be integrated into the current application environment. Key responsibilities include identifying business needs, proposing modern IT technologies and solutions, defining and designing solution(s) as well as application(s) architecture, ensuring best practice deployment, collaborating on IT roadmap definition synergy initiatives, coordinating with other IT stakeholders, and taking charge of integration aspects regarding new application implementation.
This position requires an academic degree in the field of IT, several years of relevant experience as Solution Architect or Business Architect, expertise in integrating new solutions into existing systems, relevant experience in designing complex IT systems, knowledge of cloud environment and SAP, profound knowledge of GIS, digital & mobile workforce technology and modern development like DevOps or Cloud platforms, autonomous working style and attitude, language skills: English (C1), German (at least B1); French or Dutch would be a plus.
Additional qualifications such as software development, integration design patterns, custom application design and experience in the energy / electricity / utility sector would make your application particularly interesting.
