Responsibilities:
1. Process Analysis & Optimization: Analyze, structure, and document existing customs and foreign trade processes with a focus on efficiency and standardization – initially in Germany, and later across the EMEA region.
2. Digitalization & Data Preparation: Use and further develop Excel-based solutions, and prepare structured data from SAP and Business Warehouse to support operational processes.
3. Operational Daily Business: Support customs and foreign trade operations for Vibracoustic’s German entities, particularly in the areas of rules of origin and preferences, tariff classification, master data maintenance, and coordination with external partners.
4. Preference Handling: Coordinate preference calculations and process both customer-side and supplier-side long-term supplier declarations for all EU Vibracoustic sites.
5. Interface Function: Act as a subject-matter interface to IT and collaborate closely with EMEA colleagues, including providing support, alignment, and knowledge transfer.
6. Regulatory Requirements: Support the implementation of new legal and regulatory requirements in the customs and foreign trade environment.
Qualifications:
7. Education / Studies: Completed commercial vocational training or a degree related to customs, foreign trade, logistics, or business administration.
8. Customs & Foreign Trade Expertise: Solid practical experience in customs and foreign trade, especially in rules of origin and preferences.
9. Digital Affinity & Excel: Strong Excel skills and openness toward automation and digitalization; experience with macros/VBA, Power Apps, or similar tools is an advantage but not required.
10. System Knowledge: Experience working with SAP and an understanding of system-based process flows.
11. Working Style: Structured, solution‑oriented, and pragmatic approach with a willingness to contribute to operational work.
12. Collaboration & Communication: Confident and professional communication when working with internal interfaces and international colleagues.
13. Languages: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
