Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will evolve as you gain experience and confidence, with a strong focus on learning, collaboration, and operational excellence.
* Assist in preparing NAV calculations, financial statements, and reconciliation reports under Lux GAAP and IFRS
* Support the maintenance of accurate accounting records and documentation
* Help ensure timely and compliant delivery of client accounting outputs
* Support VAT filings and other regulatory submissions under supervision
* Stay informed about Luxembourg financial regulations and assist in implementing updates
* Help respond to client queries and requests in coordination with senior team members
* Maintain client dashboards and trackers to monitor service delivery
* Contribute to process documentation and workflow improvements
* Assist in implementing standardized templates and reporting tools
* Prepare audit support files and documentation for interim and annual reviews
* Liaise with auditors under guidance to resolve queries and provide requested data
* Work closely with the Associate Director and other team members to ensure smooth operations
* Uphold a collaborative and professional team ethic
* Assist in monitoring compliance with internal policies and procedures
* Learn and use accounting systems (e.g., Entrilia) and reporting tools effectively
* Assist in testing new system features and providing feedback for improvements
* Support technology integration efforts to enhance client service delivery
* Assist in tracking client deliverables and timelines
Requirements / Qualifications
* A strong academic background with a good degree or equivalent, preferably
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting software
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, knowledge of other languages is appreciated
Desirable:
* Internship or work experience in fund accounting or financial services
* Familiarity with Lux GAAP or IFRS
* Interest in private capital and alternative assets
* Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
