Essential Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of advanced data science models.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements.
3. Drive best practices in data science.
4. Ensure data quality and integrity in all processes.
5. Mentor and guide junior data scientists.
6. Stay updated with the latest trends in data science.
Minimum Qualifications:
7. 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:
8. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or related).
9. 6-8 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles, ideally within financial services, internet services, technology, or comparable data-rich complex industries.
10. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker). Strong programming skills in Python or R.
11. Experience applying statistical modeling, machine learning, or experimentation to marketing and media problems.
12. Ability to independently design, execute, and communicate analyses that influence decision-making.
13. Experience partnering with media agencies and mar-tech/ad-tech teams to enhance data quality, measurement, and targeting capabilities.
14. Intellectual curiosity, problem-solving drive, and comfort with ambiguity and complexity.
15. Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
