We want to work with a flexible and enthusiastic individual who will be required to support the development of our European vehicles locally as well as globally - jointly with our teams in our headquarter in China.
Key Responsibilities:
EMS Development & Calibration:
* Optimize Engine Management System (EMS) parameters (e.g., fuel injection, ignition timing, EGR) for gasoline/diesel/hybrid powertrains to meet Euro 7 emission standards and performance targets.
* Conduct vehicle-level calibration for drivability, emissions compliance (WLTP/RDE cycles), and OBD system validation.
Vehicle Integration & Testing:
* Perform environmental adaptation tests (extreme cold, high altitude) and thermal management calibration.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., transmission, electrification) to ensure seamless integration of EMS with vehicle dynamics and NVH requirements.
Data Analysis & Compliance:
* Use tools like ETAS INCA, Vector CANape, or ATI Vision for data logging, parameter tuning, and ECU flashing.
* Prepare technical documentation for regulatory submissions (e.g., EU type approval) and internal reviews.
Innovation & Sustainability:
* Support R&D projects for next-gen technologies (e.g., hydrogen ICE, e-fuels) to align with EU carbon neutrality goals.
Requirements:
Education:
* Bachelor’s/Master’s in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
Experience:
* 3+ years in EMS calibration, preferably in OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
Hands-on experience with hybrid/EV powertrains and EU emission regulations.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, AVL CRETA, or similar simulation tools.
* Familiarity with ETAS INCA, CANoe,etc.
* Familiar with vehicle communication protocol (such as CAN/LIN) and calibration test method.
Soft Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for cross-cultural collaboration.
* Willingness to travel (30%+) for testing at EU proving grounds.
* Valid EU driver’s license; test-driving certification is a plus.
* Clear logic, independent problem solving and cross-cultural team work ability.
* Fluent English (working language), German, French and other European language skills are preferred.
Languages:
* English, additional European languages preferred, Chinese not muss but would be a plus.
