About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Portfolio Manager to join a leading organization in the renewable energy sector. This is a senior-level position ideal for professionals with a solid background in managing renewable energy assets, such as wind, solar, or energy storage. You will be responsible for overseeing asset performance, driving optimization, and ensuring long-term value creation across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage a portfolio of renewable energy assets across Germany and Europe
* Track financial, operational, and technical performance of assets
* Identify and implement performance improvement strategies
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders such as O&M providers, lenders, and project partners
* Prepare and present reports to senior management and investors
* Support M&A and refinancing activities when needed
Your Profile
* 5 to 10 years of experience in portfolio or asset management within the renewable energy sector
* Strong understanding of the German energy market and regulatory landscape
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator with experience in stakeholder management
* Fluent in English and German
* Degree in engineering, economics, finance, or a related field
