We are looking for a
Finance Controller
to take full ownership of financial operations across the DACH region. In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to senior leadership, ensuring that everything from financial reporting to payroll runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
* Full accounting responsibility for the German and Swiss entities
* Implement and maintain internal control processes across all financial matters
* Monitor and analyze monthly results, supporting managers in understanding the data
* Work closely with tax advisors to ensure compliance is managed on time
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and drive efficiency without compromising quality
Main Tasks
* Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
* Support management with analysis, reports, and insights into financial results
* Manage cash flow, including reconciliations and liquidity planning
* Control of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll journals, and bank reconciliations
* Ensure timely and accurate payroll for employees in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland
* Review expense claims for compliance, receipts, VAT, and tax accuracy
* Develop monthly forecasts and contribute to annual budgets
* Prepare commission statements for the sales team
* Follow up on overdue invoices with customers
* Recommend process and system improvements to international controlling
* Create reports, spreadsheets, and support with ad-hoc requests
What You Bring
* Fluency in both German and English (written & spoken)
* Qualification as an accountant is strongly preferred (e.g. ACCA, CPA, Bilanzbuchhalter)
* Previous experience with multi-currency systems is an advantage
* Strong analytical and communication skills
