Legal Counsel – Data Protection and Compliance
Location: Close to Leipzig, Saxony.
Overview: You will be a key legal advisor in a highly respected, dynamic company. While your focus will be on compliance and data protection, you will also have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of legal matters, supporting management in making informed decisions and driving the company’s legal strategy.
Responsibilities
* Provide practical legal guidance to management across diverse areas of law
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, balancing legal security with business opportunities
* Collaborate with external counsel when needed to resolve legal matters efficiently
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of data protection and compliance initiatives
* Monitor legal developments, identify risks and opportunities, and help shape innovative solutions for the business
Your Profile
* Qualified lawyer with a degree in law or business law, with a solid legal foundation
* Experience or interest in compliance and data protection, with broader exposure to corporate or commercial law
* Eager to take on new challenges and expand your legal expertise across different areas
* Strong commercial understanding to translate complex legal issues into practical business solutions
