Key Responsibilities Advise on ecotoxicology strategies for active ingredients and products to support global registrations. Conduct data gap analyses and design/monitor both lab and field ecotox studies. Perform risk assessments, draft rebuttal documents, and contribute to higher‑tier strategy development. Offer ecotoxicological input during product ideation, development, and lifecycle stages. Represent the company in regulatory meetings and industry forums (e.g., CropLife). Stay current with global ecotoxicology guidelines and feed insights into regulatory submissions and approval strategies. Key Requirements University degree in environmental, agricultural, or related science fields. Minimum 4 years' experience in regulatory ecotoxicology, preferably in agrochemicals. Strong understanding of global ecotoxicity assessment, including risk assessment and study monitoring. Experience with regulatory frameworks such as EU Regulation 1107/2009. Typically 80% EU work with LATAM exposure; Portuguese fluency is a particular bonus. Familiarity with formulation technology platforms is highly desirable (e.g. oil‑based, polymeric, solubilizing systems). Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages advantageous. Travel flexibility to attend global authority meetings and scientific events. Additional Information Hybrid working model (approx. 3 days on‑site in Cologne, Harrogate, or Reading). Global remit with opportunities to travel for regulatory and industry engagement.
