Job Title: Personal Assistant to Senior Lawyer Location: Hamburg, Germany Type: Full-Time Language Requirements: Fluent German and English Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role: We are seeking a highly organised, discreet, and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to support a senior lawyer at a well-established legal practice in Hamburg. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the lawyer’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, court appointments, and travel arrangements Serve as the first point of contact, handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally Prepare legal documents, presentations, and reports with accuracy and timeliness Liaise with clients, legal staff, and external stakeholders Organise and maintain confidential files, records, and case documentation Handle personal errands and administrative tasks as required Monitor deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on tasks and case developments Assist in event planning, client meetings, and occasional off-site appointments Requirements: Proven experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, or in a similar administrative role (preferably in the legal sector) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital calendar tools High level of discretion, reliability, and professional demeanour Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask under pressure Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is a plus Bachelor's degree or relevant vocational training preferred What We Offer: A dynamic and supportive work environment Opportunity to work closely with a leading legal professional Competitive salary and benefits Professional development and training opportunities Centrally located office in Hamburg with excellent transport links
