Responsibilities
1. Support the creation of intuitive, user-centered experiences for current and next generation Geely and Lotus smart cockpit solutions
2. Lead market specific adaptations of HMI/UX to ensure local customer expectations in markets outside of China are met
3. Create user stories, personas, and storyboards
4. Conduct user research and usability testing
5. Determine information architecture and create sitemaps
6. Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and (HMI/UX) specifications, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite / Drive the creation and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across different applications and screens.
7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (product owners/managers, developers, program management, design studios) to translate technical and business requirements into best-in-class user experi-ences
8. Communicate the UX design intent to project stakeholders, driving cross-organizational and cross-functional consensus.
9. Perform benchmark activities, consider automotive HMI trends and state-of-the-art HMI technology
10. Invent and develop new interaction concepts for future vehicles
11. Support management presentations and reports / Ensure compliance with market specific requirements and regulations ( Europe, North America).
Profile
12. Degree in UXUI Design, Visual Design, Product Design, Multimedia Design, Motion Design, Game Design, or related field / Working experience in automotive UX design
13. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite
14. Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, user-centered design principles, and accessibility best practices
15. Experience regarding creating prototypes is big plus, Figma, Unity
16. Passion for automotive and mobility applications and user experience
17. High integrity and trust in all activities and communication
18. User-centric mindset and solution driven
19. Strong communication skills and the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams
20. Self-motivated, self-organised and hands-on mentality
21. Willingness to travel occasionally to visit suppliers/partners, other Geely facilities or support test drive activities
22. Fluent in English
